NAIAD Overview
NAIAD is a semi-casual arcade top-down video game, where the plot goes back to ancient Greek myths. The protagonist of the story is Naiad. She is a minor goddess but the daughter of the Olympian himself, she is the daughter of Zeus. Naiads were born to protect the reservoir – each was assigned a small river or lake. They are powerful mages with great will and strength, reluctant to leave her domain, and vicious if their territory is threatened.
NAIAD, however, is more about safaris and sights, and colorful views. It contains no opponents and will never be violent during the user’s passage. Through 16 detailed hand-drawn locations, with each getting harder than the last, the user must overcome. Each level features a constantly flowing river, restricting further movement in many sections.
The gamer will take control of this great creature and must overcome all obstacles by swimming smoothly in dangerous areas. Additionally, the player is quite able to interact with locals throughout the passage. Lots of fish, turtles and other cute animals. They will periodically need to be pulled out of trouble, and they in turn will also provide good help.
