Beastieball Overview
Beastieball mixes monster taming as well as sports into an adventure that is uniquely fun. You take on the role of a coach, leading a team of beasties across the various landscapes to recruit, train, and battle one another in turn-based volleyball showdowns. Revolves around strategy and teamwork and of course exploration that puts a new spin on monster gathering and sports gameplay.
In Beastieball, it’s not just about finding creatures and points, knowing your group and learning how to get the best out of each other. You’ll wander around an open world and find biomes with challenges and beasties, each of which has special powers you need for the volleyball matches.
A team of up to five can be formed once beasties have been recruited. In matches, two beasties play and three remain in reserve. It is turn-based gameplay, and you have three potential moves you can take during your turn; pass, change position, or prep an attack. Trick to winning is timing your moves perfectly.
