It is played like Russian roulette. You and the ghost pirates alternate firing a smoothbore gun that fires one special bullet that’s effective against pirates. If you fire the bullet and hit a ghost pirate, well, you’re one step closer to victory. If not, the pirates strike, depleting your soul power. Your soul power will be used up, and then, will be trapped on the ghost ship eternally. Each time you pull the trigger to utter a shot, the game’s tension mounts with the dread of inevitable demise.
