Half-Demon Shinobi centers around Manari, a taciturn Anti-Demon Ninja, who has been robbed of her emotions by an evil sorceress. The sorcerer did so to remold her into an image of his design: the ultimate host for the rebirth of the Demon Lord, but in her temperance, her feelings transmuted into three violent forces: Lust, Wrath, and Ignorance. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she encounters Miyakoji Agu, a man with a special Bone of the Immortals which is coveted by demons for its power.
In an accidental meeting Manari learns that absorbing Agus’s essence enhances her ninjutsu, enabling her to battle stronger demons. They embark on their quest through the world, ridding it of demons, completing random encounters, treasure hunts, and events, as well the game revolves around a Japanese-style map. Each chapter is divided into three acts that contain ten mini-levels each, finishing with a mini-boss battle.
In Half-Demon Shinobi, you can try your hand at different schools of ninjutsu, construct custom decks using cards and talismans, and get into tactical fights with demons. The more skill points you gain, the more you can improve your skills, buy talismans, and even buy ninjutsu to use, thanks to your trusty senpai Yutaka who helps you out. You’ll accumulate Sacred Jewels that allow you to level up Manari, enhancing her skills in the campaign.
As she battles demons her emotional conflicts arise, and your choices decide her fate. Will she get that happy ending in this demon, fighting, and betrayal ridden world? Follow her story as it unfolds, replete with full voice acting and more than 20 H-scenes animated for your viewing pleasure.
