The hotel’s mundane spaces become a menacing jungle of peril and secrecy, with shadows and sounds that betray.
Examples of places to explore are living rooms, halls, and a spooky library. There is also an outside swamp area that is central to the storyline. Players can enter ventilation shafts to hide from the enemy. At first, the game roams through the 1960s era, then segues into a science fiction narrative that bungles with strange devices and mechanics as the narrative progresses.
The enemies in On Air come in different varieties, each with its own intelligence and abilities. Some are clever and difficult to evade; others are reactive and aggressive. Characters are going to encounter stuff like traps or distractions, and they will have to come up with solutions to navigate around or through the threat.
