As the adventure unfolds, the heroes travel across different regions, battle corrupted monsters, and build bonds with Monsties while trying to stop the ecological disaster and prevent a war between Azuria and Vermeil. In the end, the story revolves around cooperation between enemies, restoring the natural world, and discovering the truth behind the legendary Rathalos.
