Transformed into blue, stretchable creatures that seem to move with a mind of their own, the duo must find a way to their new life while learning to deal with what happened when Elektros, prankster creatures, escaped and spread throughout the islands.
Traversing the otherworldly environments of the Thunder Islands, you use your extendable limbs and adhesive digits to either overcome obstacles, meet bizarre denizens or learn more about what turned you into a bloblike shape-shifting mutant. The title is an entreaty to players to embrace the insanity of it is universe — where nothing is what it seems. Be it swinging your stretchy body over gaps, climbing up walls or stretching your limbs to get to places other characters could never reach, Completely Stretchy forces you to continually use the new powers you have at your disposal.
The physics of stretching, sticking and swinging is at the heart of how players interact with the environment. It is less of a race to get from point A to B, and more of a challenge to use your unique form to solve puzzles, sneak through hidden secrets, and traverse every corner of Grombi Isles in exploration. With every new ability you unlock, it’s like a new layer of an increasingly strange world you can peel back.
