Battle Shapers Overview
Battle Shapers is a fast paced roguelite futuristic first-person shooter where players will take on the roll of Ada, a battle hardened warrior trying to free New Elysium from the grips of Overlords and their twisted robotic legions.
Bursting onto the scene in Battle Shapers, you will wield an arsenal of weapons hundreds or perhaps even a thousand years beyond our own time and place, augment your abilities using exclusive weapon systems or abilities, stolen directly from the immortal Overlords themselves. You will enter their treacherous towers, each turn taking you deeper into the heart of danger. Adaptation is a necessity to partake in this endless war. Overlords are packing nearly every weapon and trick they have into the game. Whether you can learn and adapt to their strategies is what will make the difference.
Shaper Hacks are a different twist in Battle Shapers, you can manipulate loot, block the Overlords’ challenges, place your own traps and bonuses on their towers. Which introduces another layer of the play style. As you move on, colourful towers start to show up filled with upgrades and weapons that enhance your performance every time. But beware: every Overlord you take out makes the path ahead even harder. You unlock new weapons and abilities, evolving the game up to that point, increasing your chances of survival and turning your cardboard cut-out character into a badass (or at least less effete) killing machine. You can also pick up the cores of downed Overlords, earning both new combat power as well as a look that will allow you to play in specific fashions.
